Christmas Holiday/ Peak Season Bookings

All first-time users will need to complete the “New Client Register”.
This is a one-off registration; once you have registered, you can then use the “ Client Login”.

The Christmas Holiday / Summer season is our busiest time of the year, so we operate a little bit differently during this period.  Between December 15th to January 15th the following will apply, all bookings for this period will close by the 20th of December at the latest.

While we try to accommodate all of the requests we receive our sitters do get fully booked, so we cannot guarantee we will have availability during our peak season.  As such we highly recommend that you book as soon as you know your travel dates.  We have a limited amount of spaces per day so we do require a minimum booking of four consecutive visits between December 25th and January 2nd.

All new clients will need to first register then once you have registered you will be able to submit any booking requests.  (If you wish to check availability prior to registering you can do so by sending an email with your dates, frequency and location to our office at admin@creaturecomfortsnz.co.nz).

Once your booking request has been sent you will receive an email letting you know that we have received your request and it is being processed (if you have not received this email please check your spam and then contact the office).

Your request will be received by our admin staff and we will reply by email if we have any questions or cannot process your request explaining why.  Once your request has been confirmed you will receive an email to confirm that your booking request has been successful.

Once you are booked in your place is held until we contact you in November to confirm your dates.  It is then a non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking.  The balance of your account will be due by the 15th of December or 2 days prior to your departure date, whichever comes first.

In instances of short-notice bookings payment will be required at the time of booking.

We appreciate that plans can change and as such we do try to be as flexible as we can to accommodate any changes.  In return, we do ask that you contact us ASAP if you need to amend your dates or cancel your booking as that means we can open up the space for another client.  We receive numerous client requests for the Summer period and every request we commit to requires a surprising amount of behind-the-scenes organisation and as such it is a huge administrative undertaking – more so than any other time of year.

Once you have decided you would like to go ahead with a booking –

  • Check first you are in one of our serviced areas
  • Ensure you have completed all aspects of your registration, including your pet details as we cannot approve any requests without first knowing these.
  • Request your booking how to book
  • You will then receive an email confirming your request has been received by our office
  • Your request will either be confirmed by a reply email or we will contact you with any questions
  • You will not receive any contact from us again until November when we send out confirmation/deposit requests, but feel free to get in touch by email if you have any questions in the meantime admin@creaturecomfortsnz.co.nz
  • Once your deposit (or if you prefer full payment) is received your booking is fully confirmed
  • Any date changes after the 15th of December will incur a $25 administration charge.
  • Your primary sitter will contact you in December to introduce themselves and ensure you have their contact details while you are away for any urgent requests.
  • Once your sitter has commenced your visits you will receive daily service reports and photos by email and you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your vacation while we take care of the rest!
